Job Title: D365/Power Developer

Location: Remote and/or Head Office of one of our European locations

Reporting to: Technical Delivery Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

To deliver project changes and second/third line support for AX and D365 ERP and power platform solutions, liaising with the Group and Regional IT and business teams, as well as third party partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customise solutions in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Design, develop and implement standalone and integrated Power Apps
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Conduct code review
  • Adhere to the project lifecycle, including quality assurance and testing of solutions and CAB approval before release
  • Conduct analysis between ERP installation and new business requirements, creating functional specification documentation (standard, customised, ISV integrations)
  • Work directly with business analysts, Functional experts and/or business partners at different levels to translate business requirements into effective solutions
  • Facilitate testing and acceptance of new solutions
  • Provide second/third line support to key users, identifying problems, issues or small changes and following an escalation process based on the LC Support Model
  • Present relevant information to gain CAB approval
  • Carry out software releases and deployments

Knowledge Required

  • 5+ years ERP support experience, mainly in AX or D365 F&O
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Retail business processes
  • Experience participating in the requirements gathering process for IT systems
  • Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platforms Power Apps and Power Automate


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business or Technology related BA/BS
  • Dynamics 365 F&O or AX (2012 R3) certifications
  • Knowledge of software development and / or PM methodology (PMI, ITIL, Prince2, Agile)
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of aspects of business management and strategic evaluation
  • Fluent English, additional languages would be an asset

Willing to travel internationally <10%

Occasional evening/weekend work to support release and deployment
